Complex Same Day Surgery Coding Educator/Auditor – REMOTE (19323)
new Direct hire position within a multi-hospital system that includes a large, highly complex Level 1 Trauma Medical Center. Position will identify opportunities to improve coding quality and coordinate education to coding staff!
My client is seeking candidates who are experienced with auditing and coding “complex ambulatory surgeries” to include, but are not limited to, cardiac, orthopedic, breast, lung, spinal and plastic surgeries, as well as the more typical outpatient/ambulatory surgeries. We are engaged to assist our Western US academic healthcare client with finding qualified candidates for their Supervisor Document Imaging opening. Reporting to the HIM Manager, the successful candidate supervises staff and operational activities within the Document Imaging section, including section productivity, turnaround times, and quality of work. The Supervisor trains new employees on policies and procedures and provides ongoing training/education to existing staff and ancillary areas performing documentation prep and/or scanning as needed as well as interacting with scanning Vendor as needed.
