Direct hire position at a highly respected multi-hospital system that includes a highly complex, Level 1 Trauma medical center. Organization/department offers excellent work environment, full benefits and competitive compensation.

• Oversee clinical validity audits to reduce DRG challenges

We have been engaged by our clients, a healthcare system in the Southeast, to assist them in finding an in-house System Coding Manager. They will have oversight for all areas of coding for the system. This person will also be involved with strategic planning for the Coding Department, continuous training of the coders, and daily operations of the department.
Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 10 years acute care coding with 5+ years of progressive coding leadership experience with proven results.

Our client is a large academic medical center located in a Southwest Metropolitan setting. The Coding Services Manager is responsible for managing the coordination of accurate and compliant coding of pertinent medical information to include diagnoses and procedures performed with adherence to established coding guidelines of ICD-10, CPT, governmental and third-party payers; ensures accurate assignment of codes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in HIM or related field and 5 years’ coding/auditing experience gained from an acute care setting, with 3 years of supervisory experience.
